MNF Graphic

Can anyone explain the MNF graphic at bottom of screen? Is there any way to tell by looking at it, who has the ball?
I hate games when you can't quickly look at the graphic and see who has the ball.

I believe the down and distance is colored for the team who has the ball.

Looks like it is always green but the Texans just had the ball and it pointed to Titans entire time. Not sure there is a way to tell.
